Welcome to the test season! This is a weekly picks game using NFL defensive players.
Your pick link
The commissioner sent you a private link. That link is your login — don't share it. Open it each week to submit your 4 picks.
Your locked player
Before the season you drafted one defensive player. He's yours all season and scores for you automatically every week. You never have to pick him.
Weekly picks
Each week pick 4 more defensive players — anyone who isn't someone else's locked player. Your locked player + your 4 picks = your 5 scorers.
When picks lock
Each player locks when his game kicks off. Pick a Thursday night guy and he locks Thursday; your Sunday picks stay open until their games start. Anything submitted after kickoff doesn't count.

A pick-6 scores 3 + 6 = 9.
Bye weeks & injuries
Pick a guy on a bye or who doesn't suit up and that slot scores zero. No other penalty — just check the schedule before you submit.
Trades
You can trade locked players with other members anytime; the commissioner records it.
Hurt locked player
If your locked player gets hurt, you get to draft a replacement from the undrafted pool.
Test year
We're trying these rules out this season and they might get tweaked. If scoring changes, past weeks recalculate automatically so everything stays fair.
